Noel was stretchered off the court after a hard fall in the fourth quarter of Tuesday's game against the Minnesota Timberwolves.
Oklahoma City Thunder center Nerlens Noel was stretchered off the floor on Tuesday night after a scary incident during the game against the Minnesota Timberwolves.
Noel was injured with 8:33 remaining in the fourth quarter when he collided with Timberwolves forward Taj Gibson while going for a rebound. Noel fell hard to the court and appeared to hit his head. He was immediately attended to by medical personnel and was stretchered off the court.
The Thunder announced after the game that Noel had suffered a concussion and would be evaluated further.
Noel has had a history of injuries in his career. He missed the entire 2017-18 season with a torn ACL. He also missed the first 22 games of this season with a knee injury.
The Thunder are hoping that Noel's latest injury is not serious and that he can return to the court soon.
