The Leve Center for Jewish Studies and the Initiative to Study Hate Working Group in Jewish Studies are excited to welcome you to the 2023-2024 academic year. We are celebrating the 30th anniversary of the creation of a Center for Jewish Studies at UCLA and are looking forward to a vibrant year of research and scholarship.

World-Class Research Center

The Leve Center for Jewish Studies is a world-class research center that offers degrees at both the graduate and undergraduate levels. The NELCs program in Jewish Studies provides students with a rich understanding of Jewish literature, history, religion, languages, and culture. Since its establishment in 1993, the UCLA Alan D. Leve Center for Jewish Studies has presented high-quality academic programming in Holocaust studies through support from the 1939 Society.
